Harrity & Harrity Patent pros?

Post by Anonymous User » Wed May 01, 2019 9:29 pm

Anyone know what it is like to work for Harrity & Harrity doing patent pros? They seem to advertise flexible hours and remote work. What's the pay? How are the budgets? QoL? Mid-level here.

I was scheduled for an interview there but cancelled after I got strange vibes from them. Namely, they scheduled me for an all-day interview, including a 1 hour lunch session where they were supposed to give a presentation about the awesomeness of their firm. I've never seen anything like that before.

I have a feeling that they are more of a churn and burn firm, with the partners having an iron grip on everything. My (limited) opinion of them is not very favorable.

They post clerkships at my school career site from time to time saying employment not guaranteed but saying it’s a possibility. Also mentioned they give competitive salaries. I think they stopped maybe 2 recruiting seasons ago. They also had this diversity program for clerks and I checked their attorney profiles and of course they were all white men. Just checked them out and I see they expanded quite a bit since two years ago but not very diverse by racial and especially gender metric.
