Anon bk associate. I know of two people who made the move from a us bk group to Europe. But, its a pretty unicorn scenario. You'd have to get licensed in whatever jurisdiction you are going to (England). It's not like cap markets where you can go abroad and practice us law.

Another anon (former) bk associate. I know of one person who made the jump from a top-tier NYC bankruptcy/restructuring practice to a top-tier restructuring practice at a UK office of a US firm as a mid-to-senior associate. The UK office appreciated his experience in international financial restructuring more than his Chapter 11/U.S.-law-based experience. It will probably depend on your seniority, too.
