Hello, as a 2L I'm starting as a summer associate in a few weeks. I was wondering if I should email (or for that matter, should have kept in touch with) the interviewers (during my CB) at the firm I'll be working with? We had a pretty good rapport I thought, but the last exchanges were me thanking them back for their post-offer congratulations, and one more where I let them know I'll be accepting the offer.
I actually think it's pretttyyyyy likely that they've forgotten me; in any case, would it be courteous for me to reach out to them again before the summer?
Do you reach out to your interviewers before starting as a summer associate? Forum

Re: Do you reach out to your interviewers before starting as a summer associate?
Some SAs in my class emailed their interviewers before the summer started to schedule lunches during the first week of the summer program. Some just dropped by their interviewers’ offices and scheduled lunches in-person. I don’t think there is any difference between the two approaches, and I think it’s totally fine if you want to reach out/meet up even before the summer starts.

No need. You’ll have plenty of interaction during the summer.

No. There's a 90% chance they don't remember you. You had good rapport with your interviewers. So did the rest of the class. The people who did not didn't get offers.

Seconding this advice. You're in already. No need to woo your interviewers or anything. Do a good job and, barring things beyond your control (e.g. national economy, firm health) you should be all set.LaLiLuLeLo wrote:No need. You’ll have plenty of interaction during the summer.

Honestly I would rather they wait until the program starts. There is plenty of time.dabigchina wrote:No. There's a 90% chance they don't remember you. You had good rapport with your interviewers. So did the rest of the class. The people who did not didn't get offers.
