Lateral Advice Needed for Capital Markets at Deb/KE
Considering a lateral move at these firms for their capital markets group. Does anyone have any insight into the respective group at each firm? Hoping to transition from a relatively narrow capital markets practice (e.g., something like doing HY at Cahill) to a broader type of practice. Any insight into culture, deal flow, type of securities work, and relative role within the firm (i.e., support role for broader M&A group or more independent with their own deals) would be very much appreciated. Happy to take this to PM as well.

Bump. Interested too. Trying to lateral from a firm similar to the one OP is at for a more broad capital markets practice. Anyone have experience moving from this type of high yield specialized practice? Where did you move? Did you use a recruiter? How would you compare culture at your new place and how did you adjust?
