Anything I Can Do?

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Mar 17, 2019 8:31 am

Hi Everyone,

I’m a second year at a V5, and applied to a unique job in January that I’d love to have, where openings come around quite rarely. I interned at a similar company in law school, and that GC emailed the GC at this company writing me a glowing LOR.

It’s been 8 weeks of radio silence. They’re looking for 2-5 years experience, but I’m about 5 months short of that at this point. Job posting hasn’t been taken down. Is there anything I can do at this point? Or just pray? I was thinking about emailing the GC of the new company myself but afraid that might hurt my chances or look unprofessional.

Just wanted to post to say that I have applied to similar positions and been in this situation at least 40 times until moving... keep looking...

The in house process can take a while but two months of silence likely indicates a lack of interest.
