How long before following up on reimbursment?
I had a callback across the country and the firm agreed to pay for two nights at a hotel, but they asked me to pay and submit for reimbursement. My total bill was in excess of $1,000 (they selected the hotel, I didn't just pick something outrageous). I submitted for reimbursement almost 3 weeks ago. How long does it normally take and is it appropriate to follow up?

Re: How long before following up on reimbursment?
I think 3 weeks of radio silence is long enough to justify a polite followup email/phone call to the recruiter. These reimbursements can be slow, so it's not surprising that it's taken a little while, but it won't be rude to follow up at this point.
