Has anyone lateraled from biglaw to the ACLU (or an organization like it)? Or do you know someone who did?
Generally, how was the process? Did you have a connection inside? Did you apply using the sway of biglaw experience alone? I imagine you might have to explain why you suddenly want to do public interest work after working for corporations/banks. If it helps, I'm nearing three years as a litigation associate and have spoken in court twice on pro bono matters. Thanks.
