Lateral into fin reg? [Foreign lawyer, admitted to NY bar]

Post by IrishLawyer19 » Thu Jan 24, 2019 3:26 pm

I'm a recently licensed attorney in NY currently working in the blockchain space.

My position deals with regulatory compliance, mainly AML/KYC work with some regulatory affairs work. I'm currently trying to switch across into a firm but am having some difficulty. As a foreign lawyer (Irish law degree and Irish LLM) what are my chances of switching into a corporate firm for financial regulation work?
