How long does it take for a firm to reconsider an applicant after a recruiter submits your resume? I didn’t know what to search for to get an answer, so I created this thread.
I applied to a job in May and I haven’t heard anything and I kind of want to resubmit my application (I have 2 offers but would prefer this firm).
Do I have to wait 6 months? A year?

Re: How long does a recruiter submitted resume last?
There's no hard and fast rule to this--it will depend on the law firm's recruiting agreement with the agency. Six months to a year is typical. If you haven't heard from a firm in months though, that's a pretty strong sign that they're not considering you, and it may be completely independent of how you were submitted. I'd focus on the options you have versus the one that doesn't seem to be panning out.
