Waiting for call backs during an election season
I've had a few interviews over the past month, and I'm now anxiously waiting for call backs. Every time I get a call from an unknown number with a local area code, I immediately think "woohoo, here's my shot!" More often than not, however, the person on the other line is calling from the office of a congressional hopeful asking whether I had the time to volunteer. Has anyone else experienced this? Just looking for some folks to commiserate with.

Not campaign calls, but I've had A FUCK TON of those Chinese robo calls. My block list has been congested with numbers containing my area code, so I feel your pain.
