NYC Patent Pros
I cannot find anything online about law firms with software patent prosecution practices in New York City. Does anyone have any information?

I believe all of the major pros shops do software prosecution - I don't know of any that only do life sciences prosecution work. This would include Fish, JD, Haley Guiliano, Wilmer, Fitzpatrick, Goodwin, Arnold & Porter, off the top of my head.Anonymous User wrote:I cannot find anything online about law firms with software patent prosecution practices in New York City. Are there any tiers from the ones that you mentioned? I come from DC where there are obvious tiers.

Hard to say. Nationally, Fish & Finnegan are tops for pros, but Finnegan doesn't have a NYC office and Fish's NYC office is kind of an outpost.Anonymous User wrote:Are there any tiers from the ones that you mentioned? I come from DC where there are obvious tiers.
Anecdotally, I'd probably put Fish, JD, and Haley Guiliano at the top for NYC pros. This isn't to say the others are bad, just that Fish/JD/Haley seem to be the biggest names.
