Transfer Students SLIP Applications

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Aug 31, 2018 6:36 pm

I'm applying to the DOJ SLIP among other job applications. I transferred from a school that does calculate GPA and class rank, to a school that uses the HP grading system and doesn't calculate GPA or class rank.

Should I list the GPA and class rank at the school I completed my first year at? Or should I select the option my school doesn't calculate GPA or class rank.

I will submit the SLIP application before I start classes at my new law school, so I'm not sure what is the most accurate.

It isn't possible to add GPA/class rank information for more than one school. There also is no comment section in the grades part to explain.

Try reaching out to Deana (I forget her last name) who posts information about the app on the OARM site? At least, she used to - in the community section, I think it was called. She was very responsive to questions like that in the past.

(my gut reaction says put the grades/rank from your 1L school, but that's totally a guess.)
