Weil (NY) v. Sidley (NY) Litigation
Interested in commercial litigation. Weil seems to be the winner based on chamber rankings (Weil is "Elite Band 3", Sidley is "Highly Regarded" Band 3) but I'm skeptical about how much of a difference this really is. I'm worried about 1) exit options, 2) autonomy. A point in Sidley's favor is it seems their associates have more flexibility to select their work and aren't relegated to a subpractice group on day 1.
