I can see that their headcount is ~170. I know about their beginnings as a boutique. Seems they've expanded their offerings and they now do quite a bit.
Otherwise, not a lot of info out there. Anyone know anything about the culture? Practice area strengths? Relationship between this office and the DC HQ?

Re: Covington NY
I'm considering an offer from them. Went into OCI just interested in NY and didn't know much. I've had very positive impressions. Curious to hear the TLS wisdom on the office.Anonymous User wrote:I can see that their headcount is ~170. I know about their beginnings as a boutique. Re: Covington NY
Did a CB there last year. Seemed like a very good office with very pleasant people (both partners and associates), with the only potential downsides being the small size (rel. to the huge NY-based firms) and the (to some degree) lack of full integration with the rest of the firm, in terms of staffing and sourcing work (although on the flip side, Cov as a whole seems to highly value the NY office: Back in 2016, the NY office went to $180k even before the D.C. HQ did).
Cov NY's especially strong w.r.t. life sciences transactions (not IP per se, but transactions involving life sciences companies). But the deals they handle seem to be (overall) a bit smaller than the deals handled by, say, Cravath/S&C/etc.
