Above poster. I realize the apparent contradiction in stomaching horrific hours for 8 months and saying I’d quit in 9 months at wlrk. It’s only apparent though. I had an end in sight and knew midlevels and seniors who had years billing 2K hours or less (with mkt bonus). Even with that, I was close to walking out the door numerous times. Just saying, choosing guaranteed and excessive w/l imbalance for money (and exit options) is very personal.
