Difference in salary between Philadelphia and NY?

Post by macbook00 » Fri Aug 10, 2018 4:50 pm

Hi everyone,

I posted before but I think it got accidentally deleted.

I wanted to see what the general salary difference (base and bonus) was for a senior associate (ex 7th year) in Philadelphia vs NY/SF for a large law firm. I understand that there are some law firms that pay equal salary and others in which a discrepancy exists but I wasn't sure exactly what the discrepancy was and which law firms pay the same.

Additionally (i'm assuming the answer is no but wanted to check), that one would similarly take a pay cut in Texas/Colorado etc in comparison to the standard NY/SF salaries.

Any insight would be appreciated.
