Seattle post-OCI
Any word on whether Seattle firms/offices have begun offering callbacks yet? Perkins, K&L, etc?

Interested in this thread. Did a few pre-OCI CBs. Radio silence since then.

I know that K&L, Garvey, WSGR, and a few small firms have given out CBs.

Today is the last day of UW EIW right?
So surely there should be some movement here soon right?
I’m still waiting to hear back from a few Seattle firms, very interested in any developments.

Haven’t heard anything from my screeners either. Same goes for other friends looking at Seattle.

Re: Seattle post-OCI
Seattle is slower than most other markets discussed on TLS. My OCI callbacks last year were in early-mid September.

Silence on my end from Perkins, WSGR, and Lane Powell. Other firms have dinged me.

Do you mind if I ask which other firms, if they happen to be in Seattle? I haven't heard anything from anyone.Anonymous User wrote:Silence on my end from Perkins, WSGR, and Lane Powell. Other firms have dinged me.

I applied directly to and was then rejected from K&L, Stoel, and DWT (applied in July, pre-OCI). I got emails from each. Stoel actually mentioned in theirs my GPA wasn't high enough. (I am at a T13.) I don't think I applied to other Seattle firms. Most don't come to my campus.Schwagbear wrote:Do you mind if I ask which other firms, if they happen to be in Seattle? Yeah, I haven't been able to crack Seattle. I'm T20 A little below median. So I'm not entirely surprised. But I also worked there this Summer. So I thought that might give me a little boost. Oh well. So long Seattle. It was fun.

Random Q did you intern for a judge this summer?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah, I haven't been able to crack Seattle. I'm T20 A little below median. So I'm not entirely surprised. But I also worked there this Summer. So I thought that might give me a little boost. Oh well. So long Seattle. It was fun.
FWIW I also applied directly to K&L, DWT, WSGR, and PC over the summer. No movement one way or the other so far.Anonymous User wrote:I applied directly to and was then rejected from K&L, Stoel, and DWT (applied in July, pre-OCI). I got emails from each. Why not Cooley or Fenwick?Anonymous User wrote:Random Q did you intern for a judge this summer?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah, I haven't been able to crack Seattle. I'm T20 A little below median. Re: Seattle post-OCI
I did Cooley through OCI, but it seems unlikely to work out given my interests and their size. I believe Fenwick is exclusively hiring for corp and I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to that. I'm still debating whether I should send in an app anyway.Anonymous User wrote:Why not Cooley or Fenwick?Anonymous User wrote:Random Q did you intern for a judge this summer?Anonymous User wrote:Yeah, I haven't been able to crack Seattle. You are median-ish at a T13? Like, NU/Cal/Cornell T13, or higher?Anonymous User wrote:I did Cooley through OCI, but it seems unlikely to work out given my interests and their size. Re: Seattle post-OCI
Anyone heard back on any CBs, pre- or post- OCI? Or any idea when offers/dings might come?
I've done a couple CBs, no word on any of them.
