Starting in a month and trying to budget accordingly. No student loans, so I'm just trying to get an idea of what the average take-home pay is for a 1st year associate after taxes, max 401k, and health insurance. Would someone be willing to share detailed paycheck information for NY biglaw?
I've seen anything ranging from 3,500 bi-weekly to 4,700 bi-weekly, so I assume take-home is somewhere in the middle. Paycheck city is quoting $4,400 bi-weekly but I'm not sure how accurate that is. Thanks!
