Does anyone have a sense of lateral options from NYC to DC after a few years of working in the NYC office of V50 firm, doing mostly M&A, PE, or capital markets work? I would assume the nature of the work most likely precludes federal government positions, but would the skills and experience you would gain be transferable to other firm/in-house positions in the DMV area?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: NYC to DC Lateral
also interested in this - will be working at a V10 NYC firm in litigation and interested in eventually lateralling to DC. Interested to hear what people have to say about lateralling between these two markets.
