Should I put my GPA on my resume for OCI?
a little over 3.0 at T14. Should I put it on my resume or make them look over my transcript before they see my terrible GPA?

That's a judgment call. I think if you have something like strong work experience to highlight, a reviewer will have the opportunity to develop a positive first impression before reviewing transcripts. Could argue for either way. Best of luck at OCI.Anonymous User wrote:a little over 3.0 at T14. Should I put it on my resume or make them look over my transcript before they see my terrible GPA?

If you put your undergraduate GPA, you need to put your law school GPA for consistency.
Over 3.0 is sufficient to display.

I'd be in favor of putting it on - leaving it off invites employers to fear the worst (i.e., something in the 2.x range).Anonymous User wrote:a little over 3.0 at T14. Should I put it on my resume or make them look over my transcript before they see my terrible GPA?

Don't put it on there. They're going to have your transcript anyway, and if no one else is putting it on there it'll stick out like a sore thumb.Anonymous User wrote:a little over 3.0 at T14. Should I put it on my resume or make them look over my transcript before they see my terrible GPA?

Except most people will be putting it on their resumes. Interviewers assume a sub 3.0 gpa if it’s left offBach-City wrote:Don't put it on there. You can justify leaving it off if you attach your resume with transcript. If you’re handing in resume only then you should include gpa.

Then put it on. Just do what everyone else is doing.uncle_rico wrote:Except most people will be putting it on their resumes. It’s like being on tinder and someone has 5 pics of just their face and no full body picture. You assume the worst.
Keep it on your resume.

This. I've dinged otherwise good looking applicants because they didn't list a GPA. I assumed it was a 2.x (I did go and confirm that the GPAs were as bad as I assumed before dinging them). Even if it is a 2.x, you should include it on your resume. Get it out there, own it, and move on. The firms that won't hire you because of your GPA aren't magically going to change their minds because you didn't list your GPA on your resume.QContinuum wrote:I'd be in favor of putting it on - leaving it off invites employers to fear the worst (i.e., something in the 2.x range).Anonymous User wrote:a little over 3.0 at T14.
