OCS posted earlier today so i figured I would start the thread.
Any advice on how to bid NY and Houston? I really want to be in Houston, but I figure the NY firms will be more popular so I am not sure which to bid higher.

Re: UChicago OCI
Hey! Not sure about bidding NY vs Houston. Has OCS sent out the lists with all the prior bids etc? That should be helpful.
The most popular NYC firms tend to be the ones that are less grade-selective and have bigger class sizes, so depending on grades, you might not have a huge problem with getting NYC spots. If your grades aren't that great, you may want to reserve a few of your highest bids for big NYC classes, but it's not a super-easy decision if you have Texas ties, a good story for TX, etc.
