Availability the days after PLIP
I'm supposed to fly out of town for a wedding Friday Night right after PLIP. I've heard of firms asking interviewees to go to dinner or meet after the program. How bad would it be to turn a firm down if they invited you to something like that? Should I cancel my travel plans?

Re: Availability the days after PLIP
I would not cancel my plans to attend a post-interview event for a law firm. Plenty of firms do happy hours and things of that nature and you can't attend them all. While you might have a slight advantage if you attend the happy hour and really hit it off with the interviewers, it would be SLIGHT and definitely not a deal breaker or deal maker. Go to the wedding.

I went to PLIP last year. Plenty of people flew out Friday evening after it was over, that's what I did. There were events Thursday evening so you won't totally miss out.
