Not all cases that biglaw handle are shitty. I've been fortunate enough to have been staffed on one or two pro bono matters every year. Then again, I spend more than 90% of my time fighting over curved corners.

Is IP really that easy? Are all the issues curved corner level of intellectual rigor? I want to switch but everyone in IP comes from an intense science background. No, I am being facetious. However in my experience, design patents are usually not very complex. Utility patents vary in complexity depending on the subject matter.
