For the love of Jesus - Why can’t firms just tell us our status, one way or the other. The waiting is killing me :/

So I received a ding from Covington and then 2 minutes later got an email from them recalling the ding. Should I just let it be or reach out to clarify?

Re: 2018 PLIP
if you like covington I'd reach out and reiterate interest and make sure to mention that you're pleased about the recall and politely ask for a clarification on next steps and if there's anything you can do or other information you can provide to further show your commitment to covingtonAnonymous User wrote:So I received a ding from Covington and then 2 minutes later got an email from them recalling the ding. Yes got one the day after my cb last week. It was a weird setup where all the interviewees were brought in on the same night at the same time, so I guess they made decisions that night.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone started getting offers after callbacks?

I got one the day after my CB and one the night of my CB. The offer given the night of was also what OP described. From what I hear, it's actually pretty common for firms to do this. They often have 1 or 2 "super interview days" each yearAnonymous User wrote:Yes got one the day after my cb last week.
