List/Resources for Mid-Size/Boutique firms?

Post by Anonymous User » Thu May 10, 2018 3:07 pm

Hello. I am a 2017 graduate who went to a T6. I struck out and did not end up at Big Law, but ended up in-house. Due to circumstances, I have to switch jobs by this fall and am trying to cast my net as wide as possible. The trouble I am facing though is that (ironically/sadly enough) because I went to a T6, all the connections and my career services resources are geared towards Big Law. Even with Vault (regardless of what people think about those rankings) gives me an idea of what firms are out there and what type of practice they do. But with mid-size or boutique firms, I am honestly kind of at a loss as to how I should research firms and find firms to target/apply to. Can anyone help me out with tips to target this market (or maybe direct me to any resources where I can just find a list of firms)? FYI I am looking for NYC. Thank you!

Vault is actually great for what you're looking for, too.

"Top 150 Under 150": http://www.vault.com/company-rankings/l ... -work-for/

"2018 Best Midsize Law Firms to Work For": http://www.vault.com/company-rankings/l ... RankID=443'

You can probably narrow down those lists to NYC. Good luck!!
