What Are My Chances - Litigator w/ 0 transactional experience interviewing for in-house transactional position

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Apr 11, 2018 5:58 pm

Anyone out here working as a corporate attorney now who scored their job via networking/hustling even though you were originally a litigator?
I recently moved to NY from another jurisdiction where I exclusively practiced litigation. I was fortunate enough to get an interview for a corporate in house position through networking and speaking with personal contacts. I really want the job and want to maximize my chances of getting it but I'm not sure about the best way to approach the interview. Do you think my 0 Exp. in transactional work will doom me from the start?
