Hello all,
Junior associate (3rd-4th year) with significant clerking experience looking for some guidance on the prospects of lateraling from my current firm -- ~20 attorney boutique outfit with former big-law partners in a major market (LA/NY).
Specifically, I am wondering what factors hiring committees at V100 firms will look at/value highly on my application. Is school/GPA still the majority determining factor or will experience/results take priority? Graduated from a regional school and worried my applications will still end up in the bin.
Would also be interested to hear about the confidentiality of the application process, as I like my current job, but working big law hours for less than market rate pay.
Thanks
