Applying to jobs while on probation (federal government)
Anyone have any experience on this? My wife is having a hard time living in this city and wants to move. I’m still on probation with my federal agency (probation is 1 year long). If I apply to other agencies in my target city, is that a red flag? I’m not worried about justifying the move during an interview, rather, I just wondered if I’m going to be auto-dinged or something because of my probationary status.
