Hey all,
I'm going to be summering with a big law corporate transaction group, I interviewed with mostly fund formation people, but want to do broader transactional work. Question: I'm sure people will talk about pro bono this summer, and will probably be working on some. In my gut, I'd like to do pro bono work throughout my career that involved litigation - I think it's a valuable skill to keep up, and increases exit potential to in-house or small moon-lighting practice when I "retire" from biglaw. Is that even possible; and if so, should I mention it during the SA or just buckle down on whatever will make them happy.
Thanks!
