Associate utilization / Time sheets
Are associate time sheets circulated among the partnership? Just the associates committee? Just the head of the practice group? Does anyone know? I'd imagine it varies from firm to firm. Wondering if anyone knows what happens in their firm.

I can confirm that at one V10, any partner can see any associate’s or counsel’s entered time, whether “released” or not.

Partners can see anyone's time at my firm. And the partners that do staffing get breakdowns that compare all of the associates.

Interesting. Wow, these answers suck for people who are slow, cause partners probably look at your time sheets and assume there's something wrong with you. At my firm, there are people who are perpetually slow, and people who are perpetually busy. Now I wonder if partners are peeking at our utilization to gauge how good/in demand we are.
