Like no I can't add something on a rush basis to my plate I was going to be here until 1 am already.

If that means I'm not cut out for the job, oh well.

This happens all the time...it shouldn't be that big of a deal. I think that people who learn how and when to say "no" tend to last longer in biglaw.
