I'm an incoming Covington SA and I got an email today from legal recruiting which noted that the SA salary is $3,080 per week. Wondering if this is a typo because the NALP form from summer 2017 says they paid $3,465 per week, which is $180 k prorated. $3,080 is $160 k prorated, so I'm assuming that they just pulled up an old template from 2016 pre-raise, but I just wanted to make sure there isn't anything fishy going on. I don't want to be crass and email recruiting to ask. Thoughts?
Anon because details etc.

Re: Covington SA Salary Mistake?
Highly, highly likely that it was a mistake. Don't worry.
FWIW, in 2016 Covington initially tried to resist the wave of raises but had to give in. Doubt they're trying to sneak one past everyone after that.

Re: Covington SA Salary Mistake?
My firm pays above market base but paid SAs 180k prorated. Nobody complained, didn't seem reasonable for SAs to complain about that.jd20132013 wrote:I wonder why firms didn't save money by leaving sas at 160
