Bad sign?
If you e-mail a partner asking if the firm has made a decision and they don't respond, is that necessarily a bad sign? Really thought I had a shot on this one....

Re: Bad sign?
It could be a bad sign. It could also mean nothing. This is out of your hands now - probably not something to fret over.

No news is not good news or bad news. No news is no news. Keep applying elsewhere until there's news.

Like 3 weeks but the partner said it'll take a few weeks. I just don't get why they can't shoot us a quick email. Thay would make the process less stressful

lol sometimes it's hit or miss on whether the partners i work with will respond to me on any given day. They get literally thousands of emails per day. Give it a minute and keep applying in the meanwhile. As everyone else said, no news is just no news.Anonymous User wrote:If you e-mail a partner asking if the firm has made a decision and they don't respond, is that necessarily a bad sign?
