I saw some sample resumes for 3Ls on various law school websites. Is this a regular thing? Does it really just depend on if you have something awesome in your experience section?

The general rule of thumb that I've heard is that while in law school and for the first x years after, education should be first. Education first until you've done something (legal) more impressive than where you went to school.
