Does anyone have any experience working in-house for a large labor union (think: SEIU, UAW, UFCW, etc)? If so, is the work primarily litigation-oriented, or more contracts/corporate? Is/was it an enjoyable experience?
I am aware of this thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... n#p8919332 but I am looking for info on much larger organizations. Also curious to know whether these size unions also have massive in-house teams, or if they still hire out a lot of their work to law firms.
Thanks for any input.
