2L Summer Associate Question

Has anyone secured a summer associate position post OCI/traditional recruitment timeframe?

I am a transfer and wondering how my 2L (first semester) grades will translate to gaining legal employment next summer.

Don't bank on your second semester grades. Keep mass mailing and don't look back. There's no unique advantage to waiting.

I think it's possible to get 2L SA offers into Oct, but I've never heard of anyone getting a 2L SA in the spring of their 2L year.
