ugh
im at a TT, top 25%. an alum passed my resume along at a big firm and i've been trying to get an interview there, but the recruiter wants to go through the oci channel first, see what their hiring needs are, invite me if there's an opening. he's been saying "call back next week" over a few weeks. is this just a soft rejection?

Nope. It's just that. They want to see what they get through OCI first.
