KPMG culture/environment
Anyone have thoughts on the culture, environment and etc? I've seen people saying on here don't work for KPMG if you have another big 4 offer, and I am curious as to why.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: KPMG culture/environment
I summered there last year and am starting as an associate this fall. My take is that the culture is going to vary a lot from office to office, group to group. Each speciality group had its own personality just within my office. I didn't see anything wrong with the culture where I was, but it's definitely going to vary widely. There was definitely a manager or two I was told to avoid, which seemed fairly easy to do.

This board is for law, not accounting.

OP here:
Big 4 hires attorneys and comes up as a discussion topic here a lot, though.Rahviveh wrote:This board is for law, not accounting.
Were you in a major market? Know anything about international and M&A?Anonymous User wrote:I summered there last year and am starting as an associate this fall. I am a tax attorney in a major market KPMG office. I'd be happy to PM you and answer any questions if you post under a PM-able account (or throwaway).

I was in a major non NYC market. Don't know a lot about international, but M&A had a very friendly team that liked to have fun. Hours could go from 0-100 really quick.

Would like some info on Big4 including KPMG, EY, and PWC. Please PM if you've interviewed or work at any of the previously mentioned.
