I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. Goal is to pay off debt and building a nest egg before transitioning to government. It's my understanding that while DPW is primarily a corporate firm, it has a pretty solid track record with gov't placement. However, Latham has a higher litigation ranking on vault and seems to have lower attrition.
Thoughts? Any advice would be appreciated.

Is that a thing? However, Latham has a higher litigation ranking on vault
Regardless, DPW has a better reputation for litigation in NYC than Latham. Hope this helps.
