Kirkland NYC (Lit)

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Aug 26, 2017 2:45 pm

I'm looking for information on the lit group at Kirkland. Mainly, what is the culture like among the group, does everyone who wants lit get it, and is it viewed on equal footing with other top lit groups in NYC?

Also, my offer from them included a line about how my offer is contigent upon keeping similar grades to those on my transcript, is this common for kirkland, and what exactly does that mean? Don't fail, or don't drop gpa at all?

I'm an incoming corporate associate to the NY office. Word is that the litigation group is incredibly busy and I did not hear of anyone who wanted litigation that didn't get it last summer. Everyone in the NY office got an offer last summer so don't worry about the scary wording in the offer letter.
