During my 1L year, I had a rough time. I went to a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with anxiety among other things. Obviously, now I am mentally doing a lot better and I am hoping for a big turn around during my 2L year when it comes to my grades.
I am below median at UT/WashU / Vandy/ Emory. I want to stay in the area of my school after graduation.
I am very realistic about what my career prospects are at the moment, and I know that obtaining big law or even mid size law at this point will be hard and receiving an offer 3L year seems to be even harder.
Answers to Common Questions I see in threads with a similar nature:
- Yes, I am a URM but not black.
-No, I will not drop out.
-Very little work experience (went straight through)
-worked in corporate law over my 1L summer
My question for TLS is if you guys have ever heard of a firm hiring a 2L in December (when I will hopefully get my grade boost)?

Thank-you so much. Do I send them an updated transcript or something?
