It seems the third of four summers is more the summer associateship summer for part-time students and as evidence, every firm I ever looked up on NALP checked "No" on whether it accepts applications for 2018 from 2020 part-time graduates. However, I just saw one firm, Stradley Ronon, which does so there must be more.
I'm not allowed to participate in OCI (because of part-time), which has passed regardless, until next summer, but is now the time to start the mass mailing campaign? I would rather wait until I get fall grades and complete my first-year curriculum but it would seem all or most the slots could be taken by then.
