I think it's a decent idea. Not everyone knows everybody else, so this can be a place for people to exchange news. If you don't want to participate, you can ask your close friends in the waiting room.

I believe Vinson & Elkins has one tomorrow night. However, that's all that I'm aware of at the moment.
