Nine months into my clerkship, I realized that law firm life isn't for me, even for a year or two. I've secured other (public interest) employment.
But, the firm payed for my Barbri course + the cost of taking the bar. And, I signed a contract that if I didn't work for them, I would be responsible for repaying.
So while they technically can make me repay... what are the chances they will make me? Anyone have experience with this?
Firm = V100, but higher up. Based in a smaller legal market. I was slated to work at a small office in the western US.
Repaying bar exam course/fee if skip out on biglaw? Forum
