Probably not a great sign for either firm. Fulbright's brand really took a hit in Houston with the Norton Rose merger, and I doubt it will recover.

Chardbourne is getting sued by a former partner for gender bias in partner compensation + a bunch of partners actually left.

A lot of folks on TLS talk about Biglaw hiring like crazy right now, but there has been a lot of M&A in the biglaw industry itself the past 4-6 years.
