GC emailed me and told me to come by the office this week to chat more if I was in the area. Since I wasn't in the area, I offered to have a call any time this week but GC hasn't responded to my email.
Another hiring attorney got back to me saying that I will hear back soon whether or not I get an offer.

Without knowing more, I'd guess yes. Attorneys would likely avoid contact with you had you gotten no offer.
But I'm an optimistic person, take it FWIW.

Umm, it sounds like they are still deciding and you will "hear back soon whether or not [you] get an offer."
