Need some TLS wisdom here. I applied to a summer intern gig at a state regulatory agency last week, waited for about two weeks and heard nothing since then. Does this mean that I got dinged for the position and they are not interested in offering an interview? Is it normal for them to take three weeks to process applications? Should I just take the SA offer at somewhere else?
Thanks for your input!

Two weeks is very little in government time, but I would also look elsewhere. It doesn't mean you got rejected though.

What? If you have an offer elsewhere, especially an SA, why are you worried about a gov position?Should I just take the SA offer at somewhere else?
