Anyone heard anything from Queens or Bronx DA about 2L internships yet? Forum

You had to send the Queens app by regular mail, and I haven't gotten a confirmation or anything yet.

I interviewed with BX at the PILC fair last week. Haven't heard back.

Was counting on getting one of these two (~top-3rd at CCN, previous DA internships, lots of relevant coursework). Just want to know if I should start sending out a bunch more applications.

Call Helene @ Queens. You should be fine. They might have been busy since they just finished their winter hiring.

BXDA appears to still be very much focused on hiring for full time next year. IIRC, you don't really hear back from 2L DA/PD internships until end of March.

Also with stats like that, did you not also apply to NYDA or KCDA?

Interned at Brookyln last summer. Missed the deadline for Manhattan (also, didn't have Fall grades yet, which took me from lowish-median to top-3rd).

FWIW, I interned at KCDA and didn't get my offer until April 5th. I don't know how typical that is, but I doubt there is any reason to worry. BXDA apps are still open and Queens just closed.

In my experience, school prestige seems to be a negligible factor for most DA internships (though might be different for Manhattan). My intern class was probably ~80% TTT students, though self-selection is probably a big factor, especially for 2Ls.
