Boutique Litigation Firm Salaries
I am currently a COA clerk looking for my next step. I have an offer to go back to my V20 firm, but I am looking for other options. One thing I've been giving some thought to is boutiques paying market. But, I've discovered that some prestigious boutiques do not pay market, or anything close to it. I was hoping others had some insight into whether the following firms are paying at least market:
Bird Marella
Morvillo
Willenken
Caldwell Leslie
Any other suggestions in NY or LA?
Input appreciated.
Thanks.

On the other hand, plenty of boutiques are paying well above market.Becky2285 wrote:I am currently a COA clerk looking for my next step. I am quite certain Caldwell Leslie pays well below market. If I remember correctly, it's around $130,000.

Re: Boutique Litigation Firm Salaries
Do boutique firms that pay below market generally have lower hours requirements/expectations? Or is it a situation where you get paid less and have the same expectations as a market-paying firm?

Usually paid less, with same hours. Might be marginally less at some, like 1900/1950 instead of 2000+.jrf12886 wrote:Do boutique firms that pay below market generally have lower hours requirements/expectations? Bird was market pre-180, don't know if they jumped.
Dovel smashes the market.
Hueston has been beating via bonuses and is market base.
