Salary data websites
Are glassdoor and lawcrossings fairly accurate? The firm I am interested is a midlaw regional firm in a major market and both these sources say this firm pays 180K. I have a hard time believing it because the practice area is generally not lucrative (i.e., government clients).

Re: Salary data websites
Lawcrossings pegged a firm at $135k/yr for the market I interviewed in. Salary ended up being $95k. I think it becomes less accurate when you're dealing with secondary markets.Anonymous User wrote:Are glassdoor and lawcrossings fairly accurate? Are they not on NALP?Anonymous User wrote:Are glassdoor and lawcrossings fairly accurate? Glassdoor can be accurate, but I've seen it be inaccurate many many times.

No. I just realized it pays just as little as my ID factory.favabeansoup wrote:Are they not on NALP?Anonymous User wrote:Are glassdoor and lawcrossings fairly accurate? I wouldn't trust glassdoor or lawcrossing. NALP or Vault will be your best bet. Sometimes the firms put salary data on their careers page as well.
